What is Vitex?

Vitex is a flower whose fruits have been used for thousands of years as a natural hormone and fertility treatment. Found in the Mediterranean, this herb is widely known in treating endometriosis, PCOS, PMS, and fertility issues. Which is why we put it in Ova Moon’s Hormone + Cycle Balancing Multivitamin.

How does Vitex help hormone imbalance and fertility?

The pituitary gland is sometimes called the "master" gland of the endocrine system because it controls the functions of many of the other endocrine glands. The pituitary gland is no larger than a pea, and is located at the base of the brain. 🧠  Hormonally speaking, vitex supports the pituitary gland to produce the hormones progesterone and luteinizing hormone which allow for your body to ovulate, have a regular cycle, and avoid symptoms like PMS. Vitex enhances the pituitary gland.

With that said, there’s no quick fix when it comes to complete hormonal health. Vitex alone cannot solve hormone and fertility imbalance.
