Most of us have heard of Menopause. It’s that time where your period ends- where there’s no more blood flowing. It’s when you’re officially done with Aunt Flow.

Perimenopause is a term used far less often, and it would not be crazy (at all) if you had not even heard it before!

So why on earth would we name our newest supplement a Perimenopause Multivitamin?

Here it is: Menopause itself is only one day of your life. It is a symbolic marker moment, the day that is 12 consecutive months of no periods. If you weren’t tracking it, you might not even know it had happened. No one needs a supplement for menopause itself, we need a supplement for the time leading up to menopause where our hormones and bodies are changing, moving towards menopause. That time is called Perimenopause.

Perimenopause is the journey. Menopause is the destination.

Perimenopause is term marking the months and years leading up to menopause where hot flashes, mood swings, weight gain, increased anxiety and fluctuating hormones can plague women and actively alter the quality of their lives.

We felt it was important to use the proper terminology for the supplement, to introduce this hefty life stage journey that most of us are quite ignorant about in our younger years.
